Involvement at Parkland High School

President and Varsity Captain | 2021-2024

Scholastic Scrimmage is a high school quiz bowl competition which requires the rapid recall of specific factual knowledge. Ranging from history to science to fine arts and literature, Scholastic Scrimmage challenges students in all areas of academic disciplines and is extremely competitive at the high levels.

He is a two-time PBS39 All Star and has been featured on local television.

Literary Magazine

Founder and Editor-in-Chief | 2022-2024

Parkland High School's Literary Magazine is dedicated to publishing literary and artistic works from the student body. Throughout the year, Literary Magazine holds events and competitions that attract hundreds of submissions and hosts workshops to help students grow as creative writers.

Thomas founded the Literary Magazine in 2022 and was its Editor-in-Chief through graduation. Under his leadership, Literary Magazine has hosted several workshops and competitions and has attracted dozens of PHS students. During his tenure as editor-in-chief, the Thomas oversaw a team of 40 staff editors and published works from over 250 Parkland student writers and artists.
