Involvement at Northwestern

UCM is a campus ministry of Northwestern undergraduate and graduate students who try to make faith relevant in daily life. UCM is an honest, safe, and inclusive community following the example of Jesus. We embrace openness, strive to love God, and serve others to the best of our ability. UCM is heavily involved in campus affairs and social justice and helped with the workers union strike this past spring.

Thomas is an active member of the UCM community and leads weekly bible studies throughout the academic year. Thomas also volunteers in mission activities such as Stock the Shelves, and regularly performs service music on the piano for worship.

Northwestern Quizbowl participates in academic, buzzer-based competitions primarily held in the Midwest, including novice tournaments, regular events, and national championships. We frequently travel to the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Michigan, among others. We also host middle school, high school, and collegiate tournaments over the course of the academic year. 

As a serious quizbowler in high school, boasting multiple national titles, Thomas is continuing his love of trivia competition in college through Quiz Bowl at Northwestern.
